***Update: Added results for Smart Keyboard Pro***

SUMMARY:

SwiftKey X

Voice Winner
Dragon Dictation

Prediction Winner
Adaptxt

These were obviously not perfect, scientific studies. I was bored and figured I would test out all these keyboards I have and post my findings. Feel free to post your own outcomes. Thanks.

P.S.
I was NOT expecting Adaptxt to do so well in predictions, especially after seeing how terrible it's corrections were. In other testing, Adaptxt and GO were the worst keyboards I've ever typed with. Gonna test this more. Can't be right lol. I also included Smart Keyboard Pro in the typing test. After calibrating and setting it up, it would "correct" words that didn't need correcting, changing The to Theoq, amongst other weird things. Not sure what the issue was there, but everything was calibrated and set up correctly.

Thanks. That's the one keyboard I haven't purchased yet lol. I will check it out later today when I get off work and update the original post.

I use Thumb Keyboard, it takes some getting use to but adjust the settings to how you like, ie... height, size ect.. but been using it for 8 months and love it. Give this a try.

I've been hesitant to try it. Wasn't sure how well it would work on a phone. I always type in portrait, so I never have much trouble one-hand typing.

I was too, but I like it and use it all the time now. I type in portrait mode as well but my hands are small so it works perfectly for my needs.

not sure what all that is supposed to mean...

i tried slideit, which sux, and swiftkey which i currently use. not bad. the white theme makes the keys bigger/easier to hit.

No biggie. I couldn't sleep the other night so I decided to kill some time by testing out all the keyboards I had downloaded. First, I tested them for typing accuracy, then voice recognition accuracy, and lastly prediction accuracy.

I used SwiftKey X for well over a year, pretty much exclusively. Several months back I discovered A.I.type, and it's been my primary keyboard. An absolutely amazing keyboard with great prediction and correction accuracy. I feel it outdoes SwiftKey X in every way. As awesome as it is, I am always looking out for the next great keyboard. Typing is probably the number one activity most people do on their phones, so having a great keyboard is so important.

Anyone know of any keyboards that have swype and a t9 function? I always loved t9. Would be fun to mess around with it again

I agree that Slide IT sux. I like Swype. For awhile I was using a Rezound that does not have Swype. I started using Touchpal. It was most like Swype.
