It might help. Much of what I've seen with JuiceDefender primarily has to do with activating data and such. It may help. But, if you're actively using data connections, it's hard to say.
Best thing I could recommend, short of also upgrading to the extended battery, would be to download the beta for JuiceDefender, or the free version, and see if it helps.
I have Juice Defender for my D1 but just haven't needed it on the dinc2. I do use the built in power saver feature in the settings that kicks in at 30% battery left but honestly I would still get a full 24 hours from a charge without that too.
Once this phone gets down to about 60% it seems to take forever to completely drain. Its pleasantly strange. Im almost afraid to root it when that becomes available for fear of losing my battery good fortune.
