Battery Level on Lock Screen

I am new to the Rezound (one of the Bionic victims that was finally allowed to switch out). Can anyone advise if it is possible to place widgets on the lock screen? I really like Circle Battery. It is counterproductive to have to password into the home screen to check on the actual battery life...which in and of itself wastes battery. If widgets aren't a possibility, can anyone suggest a battery application that would accomplish the goal?

Widget Locker lock screen app allows widgets on the lock screen.
If you'd like a circle battery meter in your notification bar that uses 0 extra battery here's a link to "no root circle battery meter"
