battery icon and time

I took my phone off the dock today and it was fully charged and it said 4 hours on battery does the dock make it use battery life after a certain amount of time? also the battery icon only changes at 70% 40% 25% 15% and 5% is this normal I thought its supposed to show half at 50%

give it a couple of cycles through the charge, it'll work itself out I bet

right now I have 60% battery and the icon at the top is showing it how its looks when you have like 90% or 80%
