2 weeks in with that band. As expected the metal part is scratched up good but the band still looks great. Very pleased.

Follow up to the follow up. STILL rocking this band.
This is a fantastic band, especially for the price. Yes, the metal part is really scratched up but, really, only I see that part. The rest of it STILL looks like new.
Very pleased.
Very.

I like the band. I thinking about having one. I could not find any information about color. Is it available in different color? Becasue I want to order for my sister too.

Time to revive an older thread. Anyone else seen the news about the new bands by Google? Cool concept, quick connect / disconnect system lets you switch watch bands quickly with no tools. Works on many watches by the way, not just smart watches. I like the idea, but not the $49.99 price tag.

Same here. I saw the Unbox Therapy video about them. Cool concept, but not big on the price. The leather ones start at $59...

By the way, my dad in law is STILL rocking that $8.00 band.
You should really get one. Everyone.

Most people on the stock band still? Not much chatter in here.

Yep, still using the original band. It is worn pretty good, lots of wear & tear, but still going strong.

OK, so here are some pics. Picked up my Mode band today @ Best Buy. They didn't have the gray one so I grabbed black. It's not much different than the stock band as far as size and color (just a little darker color). Definitely expensive; I would not normally spend this much for a watch band but had some extra $$ right now so wanted to splurge on something for myself. If they were cheaper the Mode mechanism would be a cool way to swap bands quickly, but there is no way I am buying more of these at the current price. Also, if you have larger wrists these would not be a good band for you. I have to wear this one at the third notch in from the end. It does come with a spring bar tool in the package. Curious to see how the Mode mechanisms hold up with daily wear, they are pretty tight to close the first time.

I really wish they were like $20-$25. I'd buy 3 then. Not spending $180 on 3....

I agree, way too expensive for what you get. I hope the price lowers at some point. I'm guessing these are not going to sell very well at $50 and over. Two for $50 so you could quick swap them for a color change, that would be a good deal
