Bad phone

bought an Incredible on ebay called Verizon to ck ESN they said it was good seller said there was a ESN issue thats why I got # turns out ESN is good but there is some kind of problem under someone elses contract Verizon never told me that when I called them to ck. What can I do know I assume it can be flashed because it is not lost or stolen I have Verizon so its useless to me but could I sell it to someone who can use it from another carrier as ong as they know up front. Is the phone still act on the other account? Another reason is if the persons acct was disco for non pay ment

Verizon wouldn't say but I bet was non payment so stupid they could be making moneyoff it now I have to sell it to someone to use on another carrier they wont make anything sucks
