Backup Assistant

But seriously, what is with Backup Assistant being all over this phone? I don't need VZW's backup assistant - I have Google, thanks.

Coming from a blackberry I used it to get my contacts. Now I want to get rid of it. But it doesnt let you stop it. I want to know how to stop it from synking???
