Without wifi I can't connect to internet, can't download or send picture messages with wifi on or off. Is there anything in the settings I should check out before dealing with ATT again?? Thanks for the help.
Just got this phone activated today btw.

I'm not sure. I don't think so.

If I were you the first thing I would do is remove the battery and take out the SIM card. Then after about 30 seconds put it back in. This will reseat the SIM and it clears up issues like yours alot of times. Try it and let us know. (this will let us know that it could be a bad SIM)

When I activated my S3 through verizon, It took several reboots before it started recieving data. I think what did it was the last time I kept it shut down for about 30 seconds. Wifi will work even if your not activated.

I have done a hard reset two or three times. I will try just restarting the phone a couple more times. Att had my plan all screwed up yesterday, i may just need to call again.

Looking at the attached pic makes me think you have a data issue. You can place calls I assume but can't do anything that requires data? It's probably best you call AT&T

Si senor. Call quality is great, normal text messages are fine. No data connection. I'll call att after classes today. Thanks for the help.

I literally just realized the home page of the forum says dedicated 'VERIZON' Droid forum. Ooops :frown:

Have you tried pulling the sim out and reseating it? That may solve it......

I did. Just got off the phone with ATT

When activating my new sim and changing the plan over it wasn't done correctly so my data was still for an HTC. Fixed now. Thanks again folks.
