Can't download pictures from internet?

So I just got a Samsung Galaxy S II. For a few days before I had it activated with AT&T, I could download pictures from the internet with no problem. Now that I have service, it says no memory card is detected so it can't download. I had no trouble before, so why can't I do it now? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried different third party browsing apps?
