First, go on your phone to:

menu -> settings -> about phone

and tell us the last few lines of what it says there. Don't know if it'll help but it's a start. Also, have you changed anything lately? which messaging app are you using?

Need the long Kernal #?
I'm using Handcent.
Both msg programs r the same.
Pictures either just show up. Or there's a d/l button that can't d/l.

What I was getting at as well was whether you're rooted or not, but again that might not matter. It sounds like either a network problem or in all actuality one of those tiny quirks that requires a factory data reset. Try that.

good luck

Thanks! Do I lose all apps, etc if I do a factory reset?
And no... not rooted.

No you don't but as I always suggest, once you do a factory data reset (best done where you can connect via WiFi), right after you sign back into your google account, SET THE PHONE down and just leave it alone. It'll have the little circle 'sync' icon in the notification bar for a bit, but once that dissapears, STILL LEAVE your phone alone, i.e. do NOT touch it until you get the message in your notification bar that says, "xxx Applications Restored", 'xxx' being how ever many google restored.

Sorry for the 'SHOUTS', it's just my way of emphisizing.

good luck
