Are you Rooted? (Poll)

I'm not rooted yet because what comes after rooting seems a little complicated. I'm talking about adding Psychos back up method. Going to the command prompt and adding all that text. I've looked at the directions and so many people have issues after doing it I'm just not comfortable. I've spent 4 hours tonight researching how do root and adding a rom and still haven't found a guide for installing a rom...seriously. I know there here somewhere because I've seen them in the past. I've read so much tonight it's making me sleepy. lol

I'm not rooted, but I have thought about it... I think the results of this poll will surprise folks, honestly... Many of the folks who visit this site are tech-savvy (certainly, you do get non-tech-savvy folks here who need help, for sure) but the average person who's going to respond to this poll is probably not totally afraid of rooting their phone. I'm thinking the unrooted-to-rooted ratio might be as little as 2:1 when it's all over. Maybe even less, perhaps?

Not everyone who is rooting their phone is tech-savvy. I wish everyone who rooted was actually technically inclined, at least to read how to do it correctly =\

Rooted, then stock, then rooted again. Rom's are getting better every day. Doubt I'll go back.

+1 for not rooted. I'm kinda surprised the vote is even this close though. I'm betting by days end it will be closer to 3 to1 rooted to not rooted. We may be the minority, but we're still here!

+2 and +3 my wife and I are unrooted....Would love to learn the concepts and mechanisms behind it, but we're enjoying everything this phone has to offer....

Rooted then unrooted. The speed increase was visible but not quite enough. Might go back to it after 2.1 is out. To many force closes.

yes. bb 7.4 and moving along nicely. looking forward to 2.1 for droid.

Rooted here. I was very happy with my stock Droid, applying root made my device that much better

rooted here, tried BB 7.5... just dont wanna worry about killing the CPU with the Overclocking..

i restored back to right before i installed BB.. so im back to 2.0.1 but rooted.. gonna go back to bone stock for the official release of 2.1

seems wrong to not be able to su to root on my own device tho..
