Apps on SD card

Can anyone enlighten me on why i cannot install apps to the SD card and why I can't move them once they are installed on the phone....its the only thing about the rom that is making me want to go back to my other one. Yet I have not switched back because I like change for a little while. :D Oh ya and sorry if there is a thread or this is reported in the issues....I checked both and found nothing

download ModInstallLocation from the market. Its free. It allows you to select where you want your apps stored. Then you can select to push your current apps to sd card

Or you can save yourself the space and run these commands through Terminal Emulator:

su
pm setInstallLocation #

(Case-sensitive, change # for 0=Auto, 1=Internal, 2=External)

Thanks for the input...I will try the command, however, i am even having trouble pushing apps to the sd card with titanium and even the app manager that is built in. I'll report back

yeah when I flashed this rom yesterday, I had the problem of not being able to move any apps over. I flashed back to my backup

The terminal command didn't work, I am going to try 12.11 as i am still on 12.3.2 and we will see if it still does it on that rom

worked for me on 12.3.2. don't forget that you have to use the rom app manager to move them one by one.

happy to have over 100 mb again

Ya I tried system app manager to move them and it didn't work and that was on 12.3.2 still won't let apps install to sd card on 12.11 for me...it wouldn't even let it restore my Angry Birds from 12.3.2, it just got hung up and stopped so I had to reboot and restore the rest

Just wanted to let everyone know...after three tries I finally have them on my SD card. I unmounted the card and installed directly to phone (specifically talking about Angry Birds) and then I would try to move them to SD by system app manager. I had to go into the system app manager multiple time and hit move to SD card till it finally let me. The first time i pressed it it said unable, but after a little persistence I have got them on there.
