Apps on SD Card will not update

As of today, I have not been able to update any apps ( both market and amazon app store updates) that are stored on the SD card. It will download the update, but will not actually install. It always gives me an unsuccessful message, citing an issue with the SD card. The only workaround I have found is moving the app back to the phone, then installing the update, and then moving it back to the SD card. This is a pain. Anyone else have this issue?

Why don't you just leave the app on the phone?Why move it to the sd card in the first place?

Apps are meant to stay on the phone, you will experience increased loading time and limited functionality if they are on the SD.
