Apps not updateing or installing

I saw an update for Yelp the other day and let it do the update, only to see it failed to install. It did the same thing with Shop Savy. Now today I wanted to install a new game, and it also failed on install.

I am running stock 2.2, have almost 14GB free on my SD, and about 66mb free on the phone. Factory reset is the last option I want to do right now.

I have the same issue as you. My apps would say install unsuccessful reason code 18. I have talked with Motorola and just today with verizon and they said the phone is jacked. Since its out of warranty its either pay the insurance fee, or buy a new phone. I am waiting for the bionic or thunderbolt so why waste 50-100 on an insurance replacement of an OG droid. I had tried the factory reset 5 times, still did not help the phone. To add to the issues mine constantly locks up too. So im thinking of messing around with rooting to see if that solves it. I will let ya know if it works.
