App update unsuccessful???

I restart my droid incredible, i update a few apps, then they start becoming unsuccessful! Its not the app itself because this happens no matter what app im updating. Then non of them are succesful, they all dont work. I have to restart the phone and update 3 or 4 apps before they stop updating again. They download no problem but when installing they dont update succesfully. Any ideas????
