Well this is my first post on here. I bought the program and I'm on my second attempt. First time it got hung up at 99%. I waited a long time. Hit wait about 10 times. Finally hit force close. Lets hope twice is a charm. I got a text message pop up while it was downloading. I hope that was the issue.

about 10 minutes...then it started to download..a key point here is to make sure you click the remeber button once you get asked for permissions

i got a question about doing this. i am still on the fence about rooting my phone and installing bugless beast with the noob guides. this looks like a simpler way to root my phone.

my question is if i root my phone this way car i install the bugles beast rom or can i only run the sholes rom that comes with it?

now let me just say. I had to do two battery pulls but .....after that the rom is excellent. nav works..browser is great and all my info was retained. The 3d gallery is great also....

now can i over clock this rom too?

Yes sir. I am running the Sholes v1.2 ROM overclocked to 1ghz (it will work at any speed though). The Sholes ROM, combined with overclocking, really makes it feel like a different phone.

walk a noob to overclock this thing now to 800 mhz. I hear its stable there

Opps, I was impatient. I waited 20 minutes and it was just a black screen. Maybe I will try the third time. I was afraid this was going to happen. The first time I was so close.It said it was downloading the recovery image I think and it got stuck at 99%. The last time it didn't say anything. Maybe I will do a battery pull first and try again.

How much better? Do you get absolutely smooth scrolling in the browser now? Do albums scroll nice and smooth? Any difference in the trasition from home page to home page?

It's overclocked by default at 600, which is more then enough for me.

You can do the below though if you want more speed.

Download SetCPU from the market, and when it asks what phone you have, select autodetect.

Yes, everything is smooth and instant.

hoe screen to home screen is so fast if you blink you will miss it.
