Flashed it on 4.0.3 (Gummy 0.9.0) but it still works fine on Gummy 0.9.5/4.0.4

Essentially it redoes the whole SystemUI app to make it so much more customizable. You can change the layouts, the way the toggles look, add a toggles page (similar to MIUI) and a whole bunch more. Check out the screen shots on the rootz page, they'll give you a pretty good idea of what it does. IMO it's a great addition and makes the ROM just that much better.

will do, have you flashed newest build yet, i myself am very pleased with the gummy build more then cm9

me too, Gummy feels much more complete than CM9. I liked a lot of things about AOKP but there were some things I didn't like and at this point I'm too busy to keep flashing new ROMs and setting them up for myself every day so it looks like Gummy is gonna be my daily driver at least for a little while. I flashed the newest build this morning but it doesn't seem too much different than the previous one.

That's 9.0.5 right? Well i tried that one out and everything was great.but the launcher kept.having errors every boot, Is that normal? As well is fc on recorder mode on camera and insane frame drops watching videos normal known issue?

And when i tried that mod for cm9 the released thing, it made it so i couldn't change my soft keys. So it does mess with rom and not so compatible as thought.

I'm back on vortex until figure out my issues are known or just me. Thanks

The camcorder is a known issue for all ICS ROMs on the X. The reason the Reloaded ICS mod messed with the softkeys is because it changed the systemui apk, it's not that it's incompatible, it's just the Reloaded ICS doesn't have softkeys. It's still fully compatible.

So launcher doesn't give you an error about but working at every boot? And if not, are you on latest or the other?

I use a different launcher than the Apex Launcher that it came with, but on Gingerbread ROMs and even FroYo ROMs sometimes I'd get a launcher FC when it booted and then it would be fine after that. Was your launcher not coming back after the error?

I flashed the mod on the other one but have since updated to the newer one and it still works fine.

Hey Guys, ive been thinking on flashing this rom but have a couple questions before i do it. Im running the Vortex RC1 build right now. How is Gummy compared to the Vortex rom.
Also i DL'd 2 zips and not sure which is the most current or correct one to use

Also i havent used the Gapps before so im wondering what they are and which one i need. I looked on the Goo.im link but it states if u are using a cyan mod 7.0.x, 7.1-2.x ect along with the android version. I am currently running the 4.5.605 with ver 2.3.3, so would i DL and use the cyan 7.0.x link.

No problem, yeah it's pretty annoying haha. I'm used to it at this point. I'm actually kinda happy to learn that it isn't just an issue with LauncherPro.

You'll probably want to install the build in the OP of this thread. DO NOT install CM7 Gapps or it won't work, you need the ICS Gapps also in the OP. Gapps are the Google apps (Play Store, etc) that aren't allowed to be prepackaged in AOSP ROMs. As far as comparison to Vortex, this is a totally different thing. I think you'll probably find it a bit less stable and functional and the battery life won't be quite as good, but it also brings in a bunch of new features from ICS that aren't there on a Gingerbread ROM.

Make a nandroid backup before you do anything in case you don't like it and want to flash back.

I just wanted to say thank you for all the work put into this wonderful ROM. I've been enjoying it since flashing. Yes, battery life isn't the greatest, and I do notice some occasional FC's with Apex Launcher, but other than that, this ROM has been my favorite so far.

Personal hotspot wont work for me.
It just says Turning Wi-Fi on forever until I turn the phone off.
I configured it with a network ssid and wpa2 psk password.
Any help would be appreciated.
