Any other droid x owners have a dead pixel...

I received my droid x in the mail yesterday. I was very disappointed with how they packaged it. All they did was use one sealed air thing for cushioning and it had too much room to slide around and possibly be damaged. But after a few hours yesterday, I look down and saw a little spot on the screen, looked like i might have had something on my finger and it was on the screen but then i wipe over it and found out it was the screen. When I scroll up and down its still there and you could see it on the icons... i was unable to get a clean picture of it because its small but i just wanted to see if anyone else had the same thing happen

It will flash a bunch of colors and hopefully get rid of the stuck pixel.
You may need to run it a few times.

Other people have just used it normally (played super mario bros. with an emulator) or used an app, or even other websites.

Best just give whatever method you want a go and see if it helps.

Dead pixel or stuck pixel? Stuck pixel, which means it is usually stuck on a color, is fixable about 65% of the time by using the above method or one of the programs on the store. Dead is dead. Dead.

If dead, or stuck for good, Verizon will replace.

I had a stuck pixel when I first got my Droid X. It fixed itself within a day or so.

Got mine yesterday to same thin black dot on the screen i guess the upgrade supposed to fix it

i might have been dramatic, its not a dead pixel bc when i run the video it would kind of go through the colors but its still not right. When im on a webpage with a white background its black but if im on a dark screen its white. Im running an app that does what the video does and you can move it to the exact spot so hopefully after some time it will fix but im hoping it doesn't stay because i don't feel like waiting another 3 weeks for the phone

I had a dead pixel. I downloaded an application from the Market that was my attempt at fixing the pixel. (Hoping it was stuck.) No go. I called Verizon and had them send me another phone. The new phone doesn't have the dead/stuck pixel. In fact, the new phone solved a lot of the WiFi drop-outs I was having as well.

I had a few pixels stuck on blue when i received my droid x 2 days ago. After numerous reboots and a factory reset they went away.

i literally just got my DX 2 hours ago. i have exactly one stuck pixel (that ive found so far) the odd thing is that it only shows up when i'm using the camera and its stuck red.

Wow! I had a stuck red pixel ever since I got my x the day it was released. I didn't even think there was a way to fix it, but I just tried the method above with the flashing colors, and it's gone! Thanks!!!!!!!!
