Pixelated droid x screen

My x screen is showing some dead pixels! dammit, it's not even a yr old. I love my phone, but this is annoying me. Here is the catch, I bought it through Dell around Dec 22 2010, so this thing has a yr warranty no? I think I heard other people here before that Verizon would honor the warranty even if you bought it from another company like Dell. I already sbf back to stock to erase any traces of my rooting. So has any one here had a problem with their damn screen? It's not cracked or anything.

J just talked to VZ and they are going to send me a refurbished one. Wish me luck.

I have heard of the gray screen/ gray lines on the screen but no dead pixels! At least you will get a replacement!

It doesn't look like dead pixels, but it looks like the lcd itself is leaking inside.
