Any calender app to put an end date on ongoing appointments?

Let's face it, many recurring events in your calendar have end dates to them, like an academic class. When I used to use the Google calendar on my computer it was very sophisticated and gave me many such flexibilities. Now, however, being more smartphone bound I do not have these options. Does anyone know of any calendar app that rectifies this?
