Check Settings > Sound & Display > Orientation That box should control home screen auto-rotate. Not sure if thats there in 2.0, but that is where it is on 1.6 -- please post your answer if you find it!

J JhankG Silver Member Nov 6, 2009 #8 You have to change that in the settings. Otherwise it will not switch to landscape on the homescreen. Do what Stigy suggested above.

Okay then the home screen auto-rotate must be a feature on my rooted phone. I think I remember it not doing this on stock 1.6, but not 100% sure.

M muddy00 New Member Nov 6, 2009 #12 everything seems to rotate correctly except home screen with keyboard closed. Must be the way it is but is stupid if you ask me.

Click to expand... So when the slider is closed. You can't rotate to landscape to use the virtual keyboard or the net?

S Stigy Active Member Nov 6, 2009 #15 I think that is what he is saying... EVERY application BESIDES the home screen auto-rotates with the phone, but he wants the home screen to do this as well. I would hate if the home screen rotated, but that's just me...
