Personally I have Amazon Prime only for the shipping benefits. Because Amazon went out of its way to not allow streaming on android (in the past) I looked elsewhere and never looked back. But there are some who may want access to Amazon's video streaming services without the shipping feature. For 8.99 a month you can just subscribe to their video content. Never mind the fact it will cost you more a year to have the service separated vs keeping both services.

No streaming on Android? Download the Amazon Instant video app. It streams Amazon videos perfectly on any Android device.

Edit looks like you have to install the Amazon underground app that then installs the video app.
