Getting ready to load FROYO on my X and I want it to be rooted.

Downloaded DroidXroot and followed instructions to get a successfull root notification on 2.1

I have the Superuser icon.

Downloaded wireless tether and Titanium backup. Neither function, Titanium says it can't cant access root and wireless just says "unable to start tethering. I have rebooted phone,

I also understand I need to move the Superuser APK prior to loading 2.2 is that correct?

I believe you need to install busybox. To make sure you're rooted get a terminal emulater from the market, open and type "su" hit enter and sign should change to #. If permission denied something went wrong and you aren't rooted.

If you do have root by verifying through terminal emulator, you can download busybox through titanium. When you open the titanium app, tap the "problems" tab at the bottom of the screen and it will download the latest busybox for you.
