All hail rice

All mighty rice did it again. I dropped my tb in water 3 days ago, I immediately threw it in rice and left it there. And well I'm writing this post with that same tb. The only bad is the buttons don't light up any more and the screen looks a bit dimmer.but everything else works!

Sorry to say, but you would have probably got the same results with cheerios or rocks, pretty much anything not wet would have worked.

Completely wrong.

Rice soaks up water.

I dropped my D1 in a dog bowl and rice did the trick. I even tried starting it up again after it hit the water.

My gf just dropped her Samsung Fascinate in water and rice did the trick again.
