HELP, dropped rezound in water...

So i dropped my girlfriends rezound in water yesterday, let it sit in rice in a ziploc for eighteen hours. We took it out and the screen is visibly damaged so we put it back in the rice. Everything else works fine, touch, talk, and earpiece, it was only submerged for like 5 seconds. What else can i do? If it doesn't come out ok will i be able to have the screen replaced? Thoughts and suggestions would be much appreciated!

You can sit it on a cable box for a day. The heat will dry it up. Other than that, there is no sense in just paying for a screen when the phone is basically toast.

Alright we will try that if the rice doesn't fix it in the next few hours.
