activation trouble

after pushing the android when it gets to the keypad it randomly pushes the numbers on its own.. and it doesnt reg. what i push does anyone know how to fix it?

If you are rooted, reboot into recovery and restore a good backup file.

If you aren't rooted, you might need to take your Droid in for a replacement if they can't do a factory reset on it.

Is this a first time activation, or did you do something to your Droid that required a new activation, like load a new rom?

its the first time doing it.

Take it in to Verizon, you shouldn't have to deal with stuff like this. They should give you a new phone.
