facebook notifications

what is the best facebook app for notifications? i know the actual facebook app does not have push notifications, but i figured as big as facebook is, SOMETHING out there must be up to date on this! i hate getting the emails anyone know of anything i'm missing?

Bloo works well for messages and other FB stuff. I also use Tweetdeck for my twitter and FB feeds.It combines them into one string. It also can notify you separately of posts involving you, either people posting to your wall, about your posts or comments on threads that you have commented on.

Yeah, I use Tweetdeck as well. Very simple and streamlined app for Fb & Twitter. You can set it to notify you of any new stuff on the news feed in general or just posts that pertain to your pages.
