I wanted to install liberty on my droid, i downloaded the rom, loaded it onto my sd card, downloaded clockworks bootstrap and rebooted into recovery.

its not giving me an option to install the rom after i've wiped/factory reset.

The only options i have are
"reboot system now"
"apply sdcard:update.zip"
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition

Can anyone help me? >_<

im afraid to move further

You are in the wrong recovery, you are in the default recovery, Droid 2/X technichally don't use a recovery the more hijack the boot process and replace files as such. Make sure you have root and are using the Kouchs Droid 2 Bootstrapper then go to root from there. ROM Manager from the market does not work on the droid 2.

After youve installed koush's bootstrap util, you need to open it and choose "option 1", then "option 2". if succesful youll be in a new bootloader with green text. reply if you have any further issues.

I know its been forever, but I wanted to thank you guys for your help. I'm not sure I ever did.
