Decent tips, but there are easier ways to do some of the things he shows.

Most notably, if you use a third-party keyboard (or the Samsung keyboard), you can hover the S pen over a text box and it give you a small blue icon. Tap that and you're in handwriting mode without having to long press a button, then tap another.

You can change the look of your Menu in your settings.
How? Please explain how to get a Settings menu like yours. I'm trying to find my Home Screen settings and I don't have that option.

Edit: I held in the button on the bottom left until I got a short vibrate, 3 options came up, one of which was Home Screen settings. I got what I wanted, but it'd still be nice to be able to follow the video with the exact same screen shots.

My screens don't look like that. What have you done to your device? Different launcher?

Go to 2:47 of the video, in the settings. I don't have categories at the top like the video does (Connection - Device - Controls)

Go to your Settings Screen. Hit the 3 dots at the top right. Switch to Tab View. That will change how you menu looks.

After hitting the 3 dots, I have two options:
  1. Edit Quick Settings
  2. Help
None of which are "Switch to Tab View".

Let me look into it more. I thought it would be the same as the Note 3. I will have my Note 4 Friday. I will find it. I will check on my wife's s5 in the Morning when I get home from work.

To get to your Homescreen settings, long press (hold down) on a blank past of any Homescreen (anywhere without a widget or app shortcut), or use 2 fingers to "pinch" the Homescreen.

I have never in my life gone into settings to edit my Homescreen. Terrible tip, but if you notice, later in the video, he pinches the home screen.

I opened the search in settings & searching tab or view bring up no results. I'm thinking they left that feature out of our version...
