4G/3G Outage in the US

Well it took 4.5 hours but it just activated. At least I had lots of time to unlock and root it lol.

Driving me crazy. There was a fiber optic cut I was told, which affects 4g too. Affected my FIOS television, Internet, and the Verizon portal. Quite a large problem. Bigger than our smartphones.

I must admit did not have this problem when using my D1 3g only. Verizon better get this straightened out. I will be in touch with them for a credit.

My girlfriend is sitting next to me in Michigan with 4g on her thunderbolt and I have nothing on my nexus. She has a california phone number but mine is Michigan. Last time there was this outage same thing. I would think we are getting the signal from the same tower, no? What gives?
