Haven't found one yet but not sure if there is need. Bionic seems to use fastest available, wifi or 4G.

try this. not sure if it works for the bionic but its better than nothing

open dialer, enter *#*#4636#*#*

hidden phone info menu for a lot of phones. you can turn off 4G to 3G in this menu

I uses LTE switch. Its basically just a link into your network settings , but it beats having to navigate the menu.

Be careful with that app. In an earlier posting several of us had issues with that app stalling the phone's ability to find either 3g our 4g. Same issue reported on other 4g devices.
