Data transfer problems when leaving 4G area.

For some reason, after switching from 4 g to 3 g, data transfer is not working. In fact, after leaving a 4 g area, the 3g icon is not even showing up. I make the same trip every week and typically have data transfer for the entire road trip. Today on my new Bionic, after leaving a 4 g area, 3g icon is not showing up and no data will transfer. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

try refreshing your data delivery connection, in settings in the battery and data management. as the 4 phone was connected to 4g i think is will still continuously keeping looking for 4g connectivity as you where connected to it, i think its programed to reconnect to what it was connected to as to keep connection stability a constant. so just try turning it off sothat in turn it looks for a new connection instead of it trying to reconnect to the previous 1.
