3G vs WiFi Speed

I have AT&T U-verse for my internetservice at home.

According to speedtest.net my Droid 3is almost 10 times faster on WiFi than on 3G.

Most applications run faster for me on3G than on WiFi. I can watch HQ video on YouTube on 3G withoutinterruptions for buffering. I can not do the same on WiFi. Thismakes no sense to me. Any ideas?
