2nd Droid in 12 days.

Just took my droid back, never damaged it in anyway just tried unlocking it one day and it wouldn't do anything on the screen. Still received messages, but couldn't get into it to receive them. Calls came in and i could answer them and that was it. Reboots were unsuccessful, motorola tech was not helpful. Luckily i had 1 day left to return it so i did.

glad to hear you got a new phone, but if you're going to try rooting/unlocking again make sure you have the most up to date tutorial

Didnt do **** to it. Im not a geek like most of you. The only thing i modify are cycles and cars. I was just posting this because the lady at the counter said this was the first one to come back.

Um dude, this is not the way to make friends unless I'm just taking this wrong. I'll bet the majority of us here aren't "geeks" and in today's society, there's no penalty for having brains. Infact its a plus.

Perhaps you take my question as a slam?? Not intended as such, just trying to get more info.

You don't say what kind of DROID, so of course I have to ask. And the lady at the counter is obviously not to knowledgeable.... all sorts of smart phones get brought back for all sorts of reasons, both invented and real.

P.S. there are quite a few of us on here that are gear heads. Notice my forum name??? 94LT1.... ring any bells??? Corvette, Firebird, Camaro?? Predecessor to the LT4? Predecessor to the LS series??? But of course geeks wouldn't have any knowledge of something like that??

Or how about the Nissan GTR, I couldn't have been the Guy that trained the first wave of specialty techs needed to work on that car??. Or know anything about how it was designed or who had a hand in that, now would I??

Not in his defense, it would have been beneficial for you to state "Droid 4" in the original post or atleast post in the "Droid 4" forum as "Droid general discussion" is more of a general section.

If he meant unlocking the screen, all he had to say was, "I meant unlocking the screen".

And the labeling of people on the forum is simply not needed.

Name calling is for little kids with no other intelligent means of expressing themselves, even then I don't like it.

People should celebrate others differences, the world would be a terrible place if we were all alike. Talk about a boring life. That world would definitely be boring.
