I was just sort of assuming if I joined 2 laptops to my Droid's 3G Verizon hotspot that they could see each other and share files just like a normal wireless access point. All software firewalls on laptops are disabled. They still can't even ping each other. Both laptops ping the droid's internet gateway address fine. WTF? If I root it and tether for $20 less a month can I then share files over the droid? Or am I just doing something wrong?
