You're right, VZW doesn't care. According to HTC's Twitter they are taking over the GB update, and its supposed to roll out mid september.

I got mine yesterday. What are your impressions of it? Mine seems to be running quicker then it was. And battery life seems to be better as well.

My wife got hers this morning. She says the keyboard seem easier to use. No orther changes that she can tell. We'll see after a couple days.

I got it this morning but my Google Talk chat isn't working! It literally force closes so fast that all it does is flash the Google Talk symbol and goes back to the home screen. Is anyone else having this problem??

Has anyone been able to root the Incredible with 2.3.4 yet? I tried gingerbreak and superoneclick already without luck.

Now that I got everything reloaded, it all seems to be working fine. I am also interested to know if it has been rooted yet since my wipe after the upgrade reenforced my need for a good backup and tethering option.

got my update this morning, though a few of my apps disappeared, seems to be a lot faster and battery performance has improved. Coming from Portland, OR!

Uninstall and then install it back, that should fix your problem.
