Does anyone know when this is going to be available for everyone to download. Im sorry if this has already been dicussed but i didnt see it when I did a search. I keep looking to see if my phone is ready yet but it seems im just being impatient. Anyone know if and when this is ready? I have seen the pdf from the support page on verizon so surely its real huh ?:reddroid:

From what I have seen here on the forums is that they release the OTA in batches, and some have said it goes by purchase date.

You will get it as long as you stayed on stock settings or can flashback to stock settings, basically the OTA will not show up if you are running a custom ROM.

There are other ways to get to 2.3.40 if you are just too impatient though, but make sure to read everything and follow all the steps carefully.

Menu Button >> Settings >> About Phone >> System Updates.

There shouldn't be that much more of a wait for anyone, I've gotten to OTA on 3 X's already, including my own but the update failed so I have to do the TBH way. Which either way, both work. If your impatient, then go with the TBH way..

>>System Updates just worked for me.... Thanks for reminding me about the link. I tried it a few weeks ago, with no success (in being able to update to v. 2.3.340) and figured the function was not loaded. Great to know it is available now. :rockon:
