how do i know if my phone is the newer version? i see alot of forums talking about it but i dunno how to tell i have the newer version, and how the heck does droid not have flash player? My DARE had flash player and that phone sucks compared to the MOTO DROID, wat can I do to solve that problem? if there's any.....

Here are the steps you take to find out what version your Droid is running:

- tap on your Menu button
- select the Settings option
- scroll down and select About Phone option
- The Firmware version menu item will display either 2.0.1 (older version) or 2.1-update1 (most current version).

Flash is not available for the Droid yet. This is not a Motorola, Verizon or Google issue... it's an Adobe issue.

ok i have the older version, why does my phone say there's no updates available at this time? how can i upgrade to the newer version?

you will know when you receive the update because it will ask you to install (at least i think that's how it is, i manually forced the last 2 updates =P)
