While we still dream of the ultimate foldable smartphone-slash-tablet, someone actually already came close to a simulacrum of that fantasy. And it failed miserably. Unfazed by the fate of the Kyocera Echo, ZTE and AT&T are reportedly teaming up to take another whack at it, with a certain ZTE Axon Multy slated for October to show the world, once more, how some dreams are perhaps best left that way.

I joke about wanting a foldable/flip phone all the time. One that can fit in my pocket without having to wear cargo shorts/pants. If it's done right, who knows.. it could be a hit!

Looks like the old Motorola Droid. In fact it may do something if it was a Droid device where that bottom screen could be the kb.

Other than it being a niche device I see myself getting tired of it after a week or so.
