won't switch orientation on home page

but will on other pages...? It did when I first got it..I even erased everything and put it back to factory setting but it still won't turn correctly. (what did I do?) I want the clock to show horizonally when I set it up in the car or on the desk..

There is an actual settings option that will allow for home screen orientation change. I cannot be much help because I use Open Home and the orientation change is done through that program, but you may want to look deep through the settings menu and maybe you can find it in there.

Menu --> Settings --> Sound & display --> scroll down and find Orientation

in your case, it should be turned on ( with a check mark)

This is correct, if you saw it in landscape previously it was because the keyboard is out. All stock Droids are like that. If you don't want that then as mentioned you can get one of the home screen applications from the Market.
