Wiping Data and Cahe GB V0.5?

Do we have to wipe data/cache with the new V0.5 GB Nitely? It always says you should, but it does it anyway lol. I just got everything set up the way I want it. Do you have a change log for this version?

always wipe. just backup the user apps and restore those with titanium backup

I installed v0.5 right over v0.4, rebooted, then installed the .591 kernal without wiping data and I'm doing ok. I did wipe cache and davlik though.
