Will Droid get Android 2.2 when it comes out one day?

Title says it all android 2.2 will prob take another 6 months but do you think we will see it?

I just saw another Droid commercial during supernatural. It's their signature phone - of course it will get it.

Most probably all phones capable of 2.2 will get it. I believe that will be the last update and the rest will come from the marketplace.
