why 2 phone #'s????

    Droid X GB .596 OTA.
    >settings >about phone >status and there I find my phone # and right under that there is "MIN" and another #? what is this number for?

    I have the same thing, but both numbers are the same. The one under MIN just doesn't have any dashes.

    The MDN is mobile device number and MIN I believe is mobile identification number. It has something to do with communication on the Verizon end of things from the phone to the network basically, I believe.

    I actually called the MIN# and got a "This line has been disconected or no longer in service recording"
