What does the X in water mark dot mean

I had Droid one which got wet, and dot went red, but I was about to pick up a Droid 2 which was an extra phone from company that went under, so does this little x mean it is dead and cannot be used, I know it was never in water as it is new.

The x is just the water marker... If it's been tripped it'll be completely red

Thanks, didn't know about this until my first Droid got wet and didn't know what it looked like before it got wet. I just want to make sure this one is OK before trying to get it activated.
