What do I need to look for when buying a used Droid? Tips?

I activated with Verizon in July to lock in unlimited data. At that time I bought a Pixi Plus off Amazon to get me through until the Bionic came out. Now I want to wait until more info about the Vigor and Prime come out and I'd like to buy a used phone (probably a TB) off ebay or craigslist as a stop gap.

What do I need to look for or be wary of when buying used? This will be my first Android phone so I'm not familiar with them.

Not much to look for other than a clean ESN. If you want a quality device I would try swappa.com. Best community for buying android devices.

Cool thanks, I'll check that out. Is there a way for me to check if the ESN is clean, other than the seller telling me it is?
