    I thought the droid was supposed to play wav files, Motorola DROID (Phone Arena), am I wrong or is there an app that will do this. I didn't find one.

    i loaded a number of .wav files as ringtones and work well, not sure if this is what your asking.

    it appears that either a codec or the compression that companies like Vonage use to play the voicemails back may be the issue. I've got .wav files that I can play just not voicemails that are emailed to me from work.
