Our company has a unified messaging service in which our voice mail is forwarded to our phones in the WAV format that comes as an attachment. Since our phones have been upgraded to OS 2.2, we can download the file (attachment) but upon opening it, the message "Does not support this file format" displays.

Although I have rooted my Droid, rooting the devices corporate wide is not a acceptable solution. All the enterprise phones are the standard Moto Droid, except for one Droid Incredible.

Aside from that I am open to suggestions on a possible resolution.

    Thanks for any assistance.

You can download Remote Wave from Market. It will cost you 2 or 3 bucks but that will play voicemails in .wav format.

Yeah, I saw that application, was really hoping for a free fix since it worked in 2.1.
