One disadvantage of phones with large screens is often the power button. This is not really a big deal on devices like the Note 4 or the Nexus 6 or even the LG G3 since these phones have pretty accessible power buttons. However phones like the HTC One M8 have a power button that is less than handy. In fact you have to shimmy the phone down your hand just to reach the button. The volume keys on the other hand are very easy to reach. You may have also experienced a jammed or broken power button. These are the situations that the new app "Volume Unlock".

I wake my phone with the home button more than the power button. I originally hated the physical home button when the S2 was first released. Can't imagine being without it now.
Nice to see other options being made available though.

Good to know devs are filling these little niches.

I don't have any issue waking my screen on the Note 4. Like cr6, I use the home button most of the time.

Double tap to wake... I do have volume to wake options I don't use it... Power button is easier to reach as well with Nexus 6 and other phones now all have it comfort spot
