So my ex gf broke my fairly decent acer laptop that I used for gaming, and I have been using an 8 year old pos dell for months now.

I am in the market for a value gaming machine either laptop or desktop.

I'd like to get something for around $800 but id be willing to spend up to
$1000. Anyone have any experience I've been out of the market for a while.

I saw some ibuypower ones and stuff but Idk if they are cheap and crappy.

thanks in advance!:icon_ banana:

Cyberpower is not the way to go. Like ^^^ said, Build it yourself. It is more difficult to build a model airplane then it is to build a desktop.

There are thousands of guides out there that will show you EVERYTHING from A-Z. Not to mention the pride you will feel from the fact that you built it yourself.

And this is the truth, you can almost get a computer with twice the specs by building it yourself, than by purchasing a pre-built one.

If you do decide to DIY, feel free to pm me and I will offer any assistance I can. :)

Build your own ordering parts from newegg. It's lets you save money on labor/mark up so you can buy better hardware.

Edit: Just made a list of good stuff for gaming and it came out to $976. =P
