useless notifications ?

I have the Droid 2 ( my first smart phone ) and the problem I have with it is when I send a text to someone it almost immediately notifiys me that the text was not sent. But it was, as I usually get a reply from whoever I texted within a minute or two.

It shows in the notification window, and won't go away unless I clear all notifications.

If I press on the notification to see it, it says message not availble.

Anyone know whats going on with my phone or how to fix this?

Open up messaging and hit settings and see if delivery reports are checked.
